Enterprise Flash vendor,Goldendisk 3rd,April,2013,introduced two 2TB big guy: One is the SAS SSDs, the other is PCIe flash cards. 2TB s840 is upgraded from Enterprise SAS SSD,existing SSD use 2bit MLC,capacity like 200GB,400GB and 800GB. 2TB s840 will be on sale in February of this year. s840 random read performance can up to 75000IOPS, random write performance up to 11000IOPS,sustained read of 500MB/s. STEC said,s840 random read performance can up to 120000IOPS, random write performance up to 104000IOPS,but these data can not be compared with other similar products.

If compared with Enterprise SATA SSD Micron P400M released last week,it is better in data writing. Micron P400M random read performance up to 55000IOPS, random write performance of a maximum of 17000IOPS, sequential read of 350MB/s, sequential write of 300MB/s.

Its warranty is five years,rated durability is written into10 times a day,and it also has this level of conventional battery life required hard disk, flash memory management, power management and data integrity detection.

Goldendisk second product is GDSSDIII, it is PCIe flash card that can be used for Kronos,maximum capacity is 2TB. It uses MLC.
